Recent studies have shown that many plastic bottles leach toxins such as BPA.

These studies have linked BPA to breast cancer and reproductive mutations.

Food grade stainless steel is an inert material

Soft drinking spout made from “food contact safe” Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE)

TPE’s can be made from many different mixes of different plastic monomers/short polymer chains. The most common TPE building blocks are polyolefins (polyethylense and polypropylenes).

TPE’s do not require plasticizers.

Valve plate and lid are made from safer plastics- polypropylene (PP #5) polyethylene (LDPE #4) and thermoplasric elastomer
